The computer terminals used by the Macro Data Refinement team do not have an "escape" key
Story
Mark leads a group of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided into their work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, they embark on a journey to discover the truth about their work. This is normal for the Data General Dasher D2 series terminals, which these appear to be.
Ben Stiller personally directed it
Featured on Late Night with Seth Meyers: Ben Stiller/Rose Matafeo/Brooke Colucci (2022). Edit* Episode 9 S1 is one of the best TV shows I've seen in a series. It still tells the story, but it shines much brighter.
Only two episodes have been released
And deserves awards and recognition for it. So I'll keep this very short for now and update the full review at the end of the series. I spoiled everything because I went into the plot blindly before watching.
I can't wait to see the world building
Despite only being an actor/director, Stiller is still one of the few unique Hollywood weirdo filmmakers who can get great actors and decent budgets. This series is unlike anything on the air, and has a great chance to become one of the greatest original, irreverent dark comedy series ever. Just give this a chance, so far it's not political or influenced by the real world.
