Story
Divine G, imprisoned in Sing Sing for a crime he didn't commit, finds purpose by performing in a theater group with other inmates in this story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art. At the beginning of the film, the actors try out for various parts in the play. The group has been criticized for not yet doing comedy.

Their previous play was A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is a comedy. At Night with Seth Meyers Features: Colman Domingo/Jose Medeles (2024). The best film I've seen in a while.
The acting was extraordinary
Colman Domingo is incredible. The cinematography is very unique and really sets the tone. The plot was well-crafted and fast-paced.
Definitely worth seeing on the big screen
I was very moved after seeing this film. The film is based on a true story about the drama program Reformed through Art at Sing Sing. Many of the characters are played by former members of the program.
Simply deeply beautiful
