All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, Mentats, Navigators, and Doctor Whores. To be honest, the whole time I was watching the show, I had the feeling that it should be on SyFy.
Unfortunately, I think this falls into the category of recent shows like "Ring of Power" (which I'd say is actually better)
I've heard that you need to read the book to really understand this series, so maybe that's why I didn't find the story intense or exciting (as I found myself getting distracted by everything around me, and it happens , when my attention is lost).
