Story

Charles, a retiree, takes on a new life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home.

Before you know it, you're so invested that you have to know whodunit!

Because let's be honest, I'll be the first to admit, I'm not really sure this series is something I'm even remotely interested in, but somehow, it managed to hook me.

All the characters are extremely easy to love, and so identifiable with the person in your life

It's also a gentle reminder that we're all here trying to do the same thing, live and enjoy life, so we can do our best to be kind and especially kind to each other.

My favorite show quote is "Every great thing in your life, when you look back on it, feels like a miracle" It's so poetic because it resonates with all of us

You'll also admit that it's a bit strange to see Ted Danson in that role, especially when you're familiar with him as "Sam," but when "Charles" tugs at your heartstrings so early on, it doesn't leave behind any sad reminders of "Sam." "Father Time" is a bittersweet, yet gentle reminder that favorites are being played.

It's a nice change of pace, and doesn't leave any guilt for enjoying another "crime" show

I hope you watch it, and you recognize and empathize with the daily challenges that some in our society, our lives, live every day.
